WebAug 22, 2008 · The repair label almost looks like it was stamped or burned into the wood. I am aware of the Hopf violins so will point out this violin has no stamp on the back. I can see no other marks inside the violin. It is most likely a HOPF copy.... It would be fairly easy to identify as a Hopf Pattern by looking at some photos.
